Readers All is on a mission to derail the school-to-prison pipeline by providing equitable, high-quality literacy education that empowers students in low-income communities through immersive learning experiences, academic support, and policy advocacy.
To achieve this goal, we are launching a pilot program at a Title 1 Elementary school in Greenbelt, Maryland. Working closely with Springhill Lake Elementary School’s Principal, Readers All has outlined five pillars to guide its community pilot project: an After School Literacy Intervention Program (ASLIP), a STEM Program, a Teacher Training Program, a Community Literacy Program, and the Lodestar Program.
Readers All is a Maryland nonprofit corporation operating through a fiscal sponsorship with Players Philanthropy Fund, Inc., a Texas nonprofit corporation recognized by IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178,ppf.org/pp). Contributions to Readers All Foundation qualify as tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
